Guess not everyone was as lucky as my friends and I who got to see it tonight at 6:30, in 3d…

Nostalgia Overload of the Day: Back in March it was announced that TeenNick will began airing a late-night nostalgia block of 90s Nick shows “for grown-ups who grew up on 90s Nick.”
Well, according to this recently launched promo starring 90s Nick staple Keenan Thompson, it looks like All That, Pete & Pete, Clarissa Explains It All, and a host of other childhood classics will remind you how great Nickelodeon used to be starting next month.
Also: GROWN-UPS.
[strikegently. (nsfw)]
I LOVED these shows growing up, but I’m not sure I consider myself a grownup…

World’s Ugliest Dog of the Day: Yoda, a 14-year-old Chinese crested/Chihuahua mix, was dubbed World’s Ugliest Dog at the 23rd annual World’s Ugliest Dog Contest.
The contest, held annually at the Sonoma-Marin Fair in Petaluma, California, aims to promote pet adoption. Last year’s winner, Princess Abby, was also a Chihuahua.
Yoda’s owner, Terry Schumacher of Hanford, told the judges she initially thought the dog was a rat when she found her abandoned behind an apartment building.

Hahaha, I’m cracking up from this! Next year I really want to go…

My attempt at creativity in the kitchen… (probably just an inferiority complex developed from hearing my older sister being referred to as Martha Stewart for a good portion of my life…)

Breaking News of the Day: Infamous Irish Mob boss James “Whitey” Bulger, who spent the past 16 years in hiding, has reportedly been arrested in Santa Monica.
The 81-year-old former leader of Boston’s notorious Winter Hill Gang fled from the feds In December of ‘94 after being informed by a retired agent that the FBI would arrest him over Christmas.
The shocking capture of the long-time Top Ten Fugitive comes mere days after the FBI launched a nationwide media campaign aimed at finally bringing Bulger to justice.

I read about the FBI trying to track him and his “friend” down on the cover of the WSJ a couple of days ago, and I was thinking that they would never find him, especially when all they had to issue to the general public was an age enhanced photograph… but good job FBI, when I saw a notification on my iPhone last night that the FBI caught a wanted murder and fugitive I thought to myeslf:
“Gee, I guess those electronic billboards we saw by the Lincoln Tunnel on Tuesday night that flashed FBI’s most wanted in between every few ads must have really worked…”
And yes, of course they found America’s most wanted living comfortably in Santa Monica… it’s like almost too perfect…

There is a part of me that want’s to see this, but honestly, after seeing Catfish, I think I have a fear of documentaries… specifically those about “finding love”…
-
This is just so wrong— seriously, some people are just not supposed to have kids…
-
(even more) great things about being home… Not only has it been perfect weather since I got here, but it’s also nice hair weather— not like the New York nasty frizz weather that I can’t stand and know nothing how to deal with.
